Buscando, buscando he encontrado la peli perfecta, Breakfast at Tiffany´s, protagonizada por mi querida Audrey Hepburn. El rostro de esta mujer siempre me ha transmitido una paz inexplicable, los dulces rasgos de su cara, sus movimientos innatamente elegantes, su mirada.... Y lo que más me gusta de ella y no olvidaré nunca,es ese momento en la ventana, con un look increíble y la guitarra, cantando " Moon River". ¿os lo vais a perder? yo no....
I decided not to hang out today, stay at home chilling, and watch one of those old movies that i love. I have been searching all around, and i found the perfect one, Breakfast at Tiffany´s, starring my dear Audrey Hepburn.This woman´s face always gave me kind of sense of peace that i can´t explain. Her sweet facial features, her inherent elegance when she moves, the look in her eyes.... And the thing i liked more from her, and i will never forget in my entire life, was that moment... She was sitting in the windowsill, so stylish, with the guitar singing "Moon river".... Are you guys gonna miss this?? I am not....
El pasado 21 de marzo nos dejó Joseph Williams Perkins, más conocido como "Pinetop Perkins" a la edad de 97 años.Un hombre con una gran trayectoria musical a sus espaldas, empezó tocando la guitarra y se pasó al piano por una lesión que le impidió seguir tocando la guitarra. El auténtico "blues man" que tocó con los mejores músicos de blues y rock de su época. Descansa en paz, te vamos a echar de menos...
On march 21, Joseph Williams Perkins, better known as " Pinetop Perkins" died at the age of 97.He was a man with a great musical carreer behind him, he started as a guitar player, but unable to play guitar he switched to the piano.He was the real blues man, he played with the best rock and blues musicians from that time. Rest in peace, we´ll miss you..
Hoy me acordé de esta maravillosa banda "The Pretenders", la primera vez que lo escuché me quedé loca.. me llamó especialmente la atención el nombre, la música que hacían, un rock super elegante, y cómo no, la sensual voz , la imagen y la puesta en escena de Chrissie Hynde..sí lo admito, me enamoré de su ser...sin ella no sería The Pretenders...¡¡¡¡¡Os invito a admirarla!!!!
Today i woke up thinking about this great band called "The Pretenders", first time i listened to them i got really amazed...the name of the band especially impressed me, the music they played, a super cool rock, and of course Chrissie Hynde´s voice, staging and look.. .yeah!! i have to admit it..i completely fell in love with her..The Pretenders will never become The Pretenders without her.. i invite you to admire!!!!
¿Qué me decís de los maravillosos años 20?. Una época de cambios, de resurgimiento, creatividad... A pesar de que fueron tiempos duros, me hubiera gustado estar allí, aunque solo fuera por un día. Los trajes de la época, esa elegancia, los coches de entonces, poder asistir a clubes de jazz y disfutar de buenas actuaciones. Pero... todo no puede ser....
¿What about the wonderful 20's? it was a time of change, revival and creativity.. Although it was tough times, i really would like to be there, just for one day. The clothes from that time, the elegancy, all those beautiful cars, attend the jazz clubs"and have a nice time with the great shows in there. But, can get everything...
